Blu-ray coming to xbox and Apple Mac?

Now that HD-DVD is officially dead Sony has been discussing the possibility of offering a Blu-Ray drive for Apple Macs and for the xbox360

My personal opinion of this is;

Apple Macs will undoubtedly at some point see Blu-Ray drives in their hardware, enabling them to stay ahead ofthe game. I would rather see it as an option sooner rather than later.

As for the xbox360 i think it is unnecessary for this device to have a Blu-Ray drive as the only benefit it would bring would be that it would allow for the addition of being able to watch Blu-Ray films, i do however think that Microsoft will offer it as an option as they will not want people to think that they are falling behind their competitors
